Task 1 30.1.1

1. Tv advertising is a way to promote or sell a brand, product or service and it gives the consumers a reason why they should buy the product.

2. The three characteristics of a contemporary advert is a Unique Selling Point (USP), Logo to make the company name rememerable also that no adverts are longer than a minute.

My advert that i chose was the haribo advert, this program is selling one of the most known sweets "Haribos" so its directed at everyone. The advert is memorable because they add sense of humour and most remembered for the little girl who shouts at her dad and the line she uses "look into my eyes" which makes the audience like her and think shes sweet as it also shows its something for the family too. It makes the audience want to go and buy them as they show the different sweets included and has a catchy theme tune at the end for them to remember it and recognise them when they see them in the shop.
