I found this technique quite easy and unique as it showed what the main detail and the audience would be focusing on by taking a picture of the object surrounded by a frame such as the handle bars, window. As this has something to frame the main focus its more effective and by focusing the camera it can blur out the outside edges and gives a good effect. The 3 grid rule is a useful technique, this is that an image should be imagined as divided into nine parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections, this shows the importance of the object and not just taking a picture where it would be simple centering. Both techniques make the pictures a lot more interesting and real life.
