Mood Board & Mind Map
The idea i have for my mood board is Night market, so as this is a very busy and festive period of the year many attractions and events will be on around London. One of the scenes i will be capturing is winter wonderland and the aspects of it such as food and attractions. The second place i will be visiting is West end/South bank as of the christmas lights and food markets, as well as the London eye and scenery of the river Thames/bridges. This feature can be used in timeout magazine, London newspapers, TNT.

Framing
I found this technique quite easy and unique as it showed what the main detail and the audience would be focusing on by taking a picture of the object surrounded by a frame such as the handle bars, window. As this has something to frame the main focus its more effective and by focusing the camera it can blur out the outside edges and gives a good effect. The 3 grid rule is a useful technique, this is that an image should be imagined as divided into nine parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections, this shows the importance of the object and not just taking a picture where it would be simple centering. Both techniques make the pictures a lot more interesting and real life.

Frozen Motion
For this task we done fast shutter, this was by capturing still images of a moment we might not recognise when we see it in real life and letting the images show more detail for example dripping water, this was an effective way of capturing something which will be seen more clearly and makes it interesting as it makes it look unique and points out something you wouldnt see so clearly in real life. The disadvantage of this was trying to get it in the right timing as the drops will move quickly it can take some time to get the perfect picture or the effect.

Light Orbs
This was a fun task as not only could we play around with the lights and think of ideas to make different effects/images the outcome would be interesting to see. By using a piece of string and attaching a small torch at the end we had to position ourself and make a mark on the floor, using the camera to film we would walk around the mark in a circle while spinning the torch continuously until we had walked back to our original spot and it would make a 3d ball effect.

Insert/Show Evaluation
As part of the TST show for our college, with my group we filmed an insert we can then add into the live show. We chose to do it about university as its around a time a lot of students are interested and may be confused on where to go and need more information, as the show has to not only entertain and educate we thought we could choose a topic "Is uni essential?" that can inform. We went out to interview different people (staff and students) and the presenter would ask them whether they went to university or are planning on going with other uni related questions, by receiving mixed responses it showed that although going university helps your career but its only beneficial for those who would like to have big professions such as doctors, lawyers etc. The more results we received the more we could organise the results and have a conclusion.
As there have been a majority of people who went university to do a course they wanted to pursue in but after 1 or 2 years have failed because they would get distracted or come out with their degree and still are finding it hard to get a job, so its very competitive and you have to make sure you are committed We have gathered all this information to tell students and help them with financing so they can make up their minds easier as no one wants to pay £9000 and then have no job come out of it. Although this will put students off going there are student loans and grants that will help and its a experience which you can only benefit from. If we provide students with a variety of facts and opinions from different people it makes it more realistic and interesting, this fits in with the show well and adds a topic which is away from gossip and the entertainment subject.

TST Role Evaluation
My role in this task was the make-up artist/an extra as being a zombie. This involved in touching up make up before going on set and also being one of the extras on the live show by being at the back as a zombie to make the set look more realistic for the Halloween theme. This helped me get into more of my creative side and do something different, seeing how it is to take on a different role it increases your experience and helps you learn and realise if its the role that suits you.
Apart from the Halloween make up, other make up touches i would do to help, this would also change the way a character may look on camera and improve the quality of the film. What i liked most was being able to improvise on stage to help the set while filming when acting and being creative, also involving myself into the occasion it allowed me to dress up and play my role.
What i disliked or would change for next time would be to take on a more challenging role in which my strengths and weaknesses could be tested as this would also allow me to figure out what i'm best at, this would also show what i can do and have a more important role.

Light Graffiti
This technique of drawing with a torch to make a picture was very effective and unique. Using a camera and tripod to position it on a clear background then switch off the lights where then we can use a torch and draw an idea while the camera has been set on 20 seconds at the end the camera captures what has been drawn into a still image. It was different as its something you can play about with and come up with new ideas which makes it a creative and interesting task. Its effective because if you practise and know your positioning well you can have a piece of art where as if you step out the frame or not use the torch correctly or in the right place/light it can not be seen properly and wouldnt be as effective or let others know what the image actually is.

Email to BBC
Dear to whom it may concern,
As i have recently seen the video on Frankie Boyle sharing a negative comment about Katie Price's son Harvey on tv i would like to express my feelings and concerns, Harvey is only young and can not defend himself this just shows how weak Boyle can be to stoop so low, not only has Harvey not done anything towards him he is angering all the parents who have children who may be suffering the same condition this will not only have more parents or viewers complaining he is seen as racist and is not wanted anywhere.
I would like some sort of action to be taken against him as i feel its wrong it was showed to the viewers and should be taken off any public appearences although it may have been just a joke there could of been plenty of other jokes made that were not offensive and were suitable.
Thankyou
